Canfield’s Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio announced a new collaboration to bring cybersecurity tools to local schools.

ESCEO is partnering with Vinson, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions.

They’re working together to develop stronger security measures for local school districts’ data and protect against potential breaches, according to superintendent Traci Hostetler.

“We are thrilled to partner with Vinson to bring comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to our member schools,” said Hostetler. “With cyber threats on the rise, it is imperative that our member districts have access to reliable, cost-effective security measures. Together with Vinson, we are dedicated to equipping schools with the tools and support necessary to mitigate risks and uphold the integrity of their digital infrastructure.”
[–>
They’re developing a suite of digital data management and monitoring services called CYBER. They’re specifically designed for keeping track of the sensitive records and managing data privacy for students, educators and administrators.

John LaPlante, president of Vinson, said they’re excited for the collaboration with ESCEO in Mahoning County.
[–>
“By combining Vinson’s advanced cybersecurity capabilities with ESCEO’s deep understanding of the educational technology landscape, we aim to empower schools with the tools and knowledge needed to protect their digital assets and ensure a secure learning environment for students and staff,” said LaPlante.
